    • For small spaces +/- 16cm

Temporarily with FREE 7 m drain hose. Easy to directly attach to the pump!

De DAB Nova Up 180 MNA is the ultimate submersible utility pump for clean and slightly contaminated water. It can dry areas up to a 0-1mm distance from the floor. There's a reason why this pump is often referred to as a puddle sucker pump. It is the only pump available in its class that can dry areas up to such distances from the floor (see video below). The top outlet ensures the motor is sufficiently cooled. This pump is not equipped with a float switch, allowing the pump to be placed in smaller spaces (with a diameter of 16 cm or more).

What makes the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA unique is that the pump has an air outlet. As soon as all the air has left the pump, the device will start operating at full power. Can also be used in areas with at least 5 mm water, making the pump highly suitable in almost any situation involving flooding.

When removing the basket, the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA can be used as a submersible utility/puddle sucker pump. This can be very easily done by using a screwdriver. Using the screwdriver, you can disconnect the basket from the three recesses. You can then place the pump directly on the floor and allow it to function like a submersible utility/puddle sucker pump.

The pump comes with a check valve and hose reel for connecting a drain hose.

    • DAB-quality pump
    • The hose that can be used with this pump has a 1.25" diameter
    • The maximum head rate is 5 metres

This pump does not have a float switch, which means it does not automatically switch on and off based on the water level.

    •

This submersible pump pumps water down to a level of 0-1 mm

Are you looking for a pump that starts automatically? In that case, you should opt for a submersible utility pump with a float switch, such as the Grundfos Unilift CC 5 A1 or the DAB Nova Up 300 M-AE.

Pump mop dry (submersible utility pump)

This pump is a puddle sucker. Not every submersible pump is a submersible utility pump or puddle sucker. If you're experiencing flooding and want to pump a room until it's 'dry', you need a submersible utility pump. Some pumps can even pump down to a water level between 0 and 1 mm. Usually, such pumps are used in basements or crawlspaces. Groundwater can well up and flood your house or garden. These pumps offer the perfect solution. A submersible utility pump can be used in two ways. If it has a float switch, the pump can pump water out down to a level of about 4cm. Only in its manual setting, can the submersible utility pump continue to pump until the area is 'dry'. You will need to switch off the pump manually when it's no longer taking in water. This is important, as the pump cools itself with the water it pumps. In order to prevent damage, a pump can therefore only pump to a 'dry' level in manual mode.

Submersible utility pump that can dry a space almost completely dry. Lots of accessories

    Very efficient water pump

I ordered this to clear some groundwater out of my cellar and I found it very efficient and easy to operate, especially as I had never had used similar equipment before. It pumped all the the water away very effectively in about 30 minutes.

    Quick and simple

My well is small, but it quickly fill up with rainwater. The process of submersing the pump in the well takes longer than simple draining it. Quick and easy. There's no better solution.

DAB Nova 180 MNA submersible utility pump

This 'puddle sucker pump' meets all our expectations. The included manual is very extensive. We hope to store away this pump for a long time now. Nevertheless, in case of emergencies it will always be waiting for us. Recommended!!

The best quality. A definite recommendation!

I've purchased DAB pumps my entire life and can certainly recommend them to everyone. I've had very expensive DAB pumps in the past for a wide range of purposes and all have worked excellently in even the most severe of conditions. Simply the BEST quality available!

The best 3 submersible utility pumps

This is the best submersible utility pump I've purchased in this price range (€ 200 - 300). Maybe not the greatest capacity, but the best submersible utility pump that dries areas up to 1mm from the floor. Very silent and protected against dry-running.

    Super pump

After a wrong order I was immediately helped by the service guy ! The setup of this pump was very simple. The 10 m drain hose I ordered was also top notch! I hope to use this pump for a long time, because my cellar continues to be flooded again and again. Thanks to this pump, I can look forward to the upcoming winter with great relief!

    Very satisfied for now

Purchased this pump after a flood, so haven't been able to use it yet. Tried it out for a bit though. The early test results (with pump grid) were positive. Although slightly surprised that some water flowed back after turning it off: most likely from the pump itself, because the check valve was already installed. The service I received was excellent!

    Modern shopping

Had some trouble with a small layer of water in a large underground canal system. Found Waterpompshop and the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA through Google. After getting some advice, I received the pump the day after I ordered. Fortunately, the pump also drains waste water. Impressive!

    small but delightful

We work with water pumps every day and this pump proved to be ideal for a certain task. The pump saves us from a lot of manual work and drains spaces almost completely dry. Are there any other pumps like this available but with a greater capacity?

    great purchase

This pump works great as a replacement of a Gardena pump. Drains more water from the cellar.

    Switched

    Hello everyone.
I used to have a submersible utility pump that unfortunately stopped working last year. After receiving some advice on the pump above, I made the switch. I have very little knowledge about water pumps, but I'm more than satisfied with the result!

    Test

Just received this pump and tried it out for a bit. Also had another quick look at the video and I'm almost certain this pump will be ideal for our basements. The basements are always flooded with a small layer of water, which we used to remove manually. Using this pump however seems a lot more efficient. The pump feels sturdy and robust. Important, because in the past we've had more inexpensive pumps that turned out to be fairly rubbish.
    | 02/12/2013 | Review by

    What an invention

Thanks a lot for the video! It definitely convinced me. I used this pump in a flooded room in my home. The room was drained almost completely dry. After draining, I only had to mop up the remaining water and done! The grid can be easily removed. I believe you can easily transform it into a simple clean water pump. I heard about the Nova Up in the past, so I'm glad I was able to find it on your website.
    Regards,
    Francis.

Frequently asked questions of the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA Submersible Utility Pump

Frequently Asked Questions ● What does a float switch do and how does it benefit me? ● If I use the float switch, at what water level will the pump automatically turn on and off? ● In what situations can I use this pump? ● What is the difference between the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA, the Integra 8000 and the DAB Verty Nova 200 M-A? ● Can this pump be placed in small spaces? ● Is the pump delivered ready for use? ● Which items are included in the package? What does a float switch do and how does it benefit me? A float switch ensures that your pump automatically turns on or off at a certain water level. This is very convenient if you wish to use the pump in rooms that are regularly submerged. After all, when using a float switch, you won't have to manually turn the pump on or off every time there is water in the room. Moreover, the pump is also equipped with a float switch, which means it can be set to both automatic and manual operation modes. If I use the float switch, at what water level will the pump automatically turn on and off?? This submersible pump automatically powers on at a water level of 115 mm and turns off at a water level of 45 mm. In order to ensure that the room doesn't maintain a water level of 45 mm once the pump powers off, the pump is often placed in a small pit. This pit ensures that the pump is placed at a slightly deeper position in the room, ensuring continued pumping until a water level of 45 mm is reached in the pit. In this way, the rest of the room will be pumped dry and there will only be some remaining water in the pit In what situations can I use this pump? You can use the pump in the following situations: ● The draining of your basement and/or crawl space ● As a permanent setup to automatically drain your basement/crawl space once a specific water level is reached ● The draining of your basin ● The draining of your pool What is the difference between the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA, the Integra 8000 and the DAB Verty Nova 200 M-A? ● When it comes to flat suction, the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA is the most effective submersible utility pump of the three. This submersible pump leaves behind a water level of 0-1 mm at most. Very easy for occasional use, in every place in the home. ● The Integra 8000 is is a submersible utility pump with float switch. This means that the pump automatically turns on and off at a certain water level. It is also possible to automatically or manually turn this pump on or off. Ideal as a permanent setup in, for example, a basement or crawl space that is often submerged in water. This pump leaves behind a water level of 2 mm at most. ● Just like the Integra 8000, the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA is a submersible utility pump with float switch. This submersible pump can therefore also be automatically or manually turned on at a specific water level. Convenient for use in a basement/crawl space that is often submerged in water. This pump leaves behind a water level of 2-3 mm at most. Can this pump be placed in small spaces? This pump requires a space of at least a diameter of 23 centimetres. As a result, this submersible pump can be placed in almost any space. Is the pump delivered ready for use? Yes, this pump is supplied with all components required for direct use. The only thing you need to do is attach the drain hose to move the pumped water to a desired location. The drain hose in our assortment is suitable for this pump. Which items are included in the package? ● DAB Nova Up 180 MNA ● Special offer: 10m drain hose ● Cable connection (10 metres) ● Manual
