With an irrigation computer, you leave watering your garden entirely to the device, which, if you desire, allows you to irrigate specific sectors of the garden automatically at particular times. If, in addition to the set programme, you wish to irrigate extra areas, this can be arranged instantly by means of the irrigation computer.
These computers cannot operate without making use of magnetic valves, which are placed between the pipes - usually on a distributor - and are closed off by default. An electric signal emitted by the irrigation computer opens the valve, and water is directed to a particular group.
Irrigation computers come in different models. We have listed a small selection that is suitable in most situations.
Please note: If you want to use an irrigation computer in combination with a water pump, we recommend you opt for an automatic pump such as a booster pump. Booster pumps switch on and off automatically depending on water requirement (for example when a valve is opened). Garden pumps are not suitable for automatic irrigation because they do not switch on and off automatically depending on water requirement.
