    • Internal float switch
    • Very good value for money
    • Discharge on top
    • Affordable for a submersible utility pump

This pump drains water up to a 2 mm distance from the ground. These types of pumps are also often referred to as puddle sucker pumps. The pump has a built-in float switch and overhead outlet, making the pump highly suitable in smaller areas (with a diameter of approx. 20 cm). The float switch ensures the pump automatically switches on or off when required. This can also be done manually.

    • Comes with a check valve and hose reel
    • The pump outlet is 1.25". Our supplied hose can be attached directly to this
    • The maximum submersion depth of the pump is 7 metres
    • The maximum head rate is 6.5 metres

Equipped with float switch for easy switching between manual and automatic mode.

This pump has a float switch, which means it automatically switches on and off based on the water level.

    • Switches on automatically when the water reaches 12,5 cm
    • Switches off automatically when the water reaches 4,5 cm
    • On manual mode, this pump will pump the water to 2 mm

    Tallas

Tallas is a brand that has been around for many years and has always focused on the consumer market. Tallas has some particularly handy solutions for garden irrigation and using ditch water or rainwater. Tallas is part of DAB, and its pumps are built according to the same quality standards. They often use lighter materials, which results in a small difference in quality. Tallas's strength is their easy solutions they put on their pumps. This makes them ideal for many consumers. One example is a built-in pre-filter that protects the pump from dirt. Their irrigation pumps are also light and have a handle and base. This makes them easy to move and use for small irrigation jobs.

Pump mop dry (submersible utility pump)

This pump is a puddle sucker. Not every submersible pump is a submersible utility pump or puddle sucker. If you're experiencing flooding and want to pump a room until it's 'dry', you need a submersible utility pump. Some pumps can even pump down to a water level between 0 and 1 mm. Usually, such pumps are used in basements or crawlspaces. Groundwater can well up and flood your house or garden. These pumps offer the perfect solution. A submersible utility pump can be used in two ways. If it has a float switch, the pump can pump water out down to a level of about 4cm. Only in its manual setting, can the submersible utility pump continue to pump until the area is 'dry'. You will need to switch off the pump manually when it's no longer taking in water. This is important, as the pump cools itself with the water it pumps. In order to prevent damage, a pump can therefore only pump to a 'dry' level in manual mode.

Float switch for switching on/off automatically

This submersible pump has a float switch. This float switch ensures the submersible pump switches on and off automatically. Each pump has its own variables when it comes to when it will switch on or off. Heavy-duty dirty water pumps often have a high level for starting and stopping. They will switch on relatively late and switch off relatively late. Unlike submersible utility pumps, which start sooner and stop later. Check the pump specifications for these variables.
There are three types of float switches A free-floating float switch attached to a cable, a lever float switch, and an internal float switch. The free-floating float switch needs room, as it can move in all directions. The lever float switch needs less space, as it only moves up and down. This makes it more reliable in general. Finally, there is the internal float switch. It has been built into the pump and requires the least amount of space. These internal float switches are often used on submersible utility pumps that have to operate in small spaces.

Frequently asked questions of the Tallas D-CWP 300 Submersible Utility Pump

Frequently Asked Questions ● What does a float switch do and how does it benefit me? ● If I use the float switch, at what water level will the pump automatically turn on and off? ● In what situations can I use this pump? ● What is the difference between the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA, the Integra 8000 and the Tallas D-CWP 300? ● Can this pump be placed in small spaces? ● Is the pump delivered ready for use? ● Which items are included in the package? What does a float switch do and how does it benefit me? A float switch ensures that your pump automatically turns on or off at a certain water level. This is very convenient if you wish to use the pump in rooms that are regularly submerged. After all, when using a float switch, you won't have to manually turn the pump on or off every time there is water in the room. Moreover, the pump is also equipped with a float switch, which means it can be set to both automatic and manual operation modes. If I use the float switch, at what water level will the pump automatically turn on and off?? This submersible pump automatically powers on at a water level of 115 mm and turns off at a water level of 45 mm. In order to ensure that the room doesn't maintain a water level of 45 mm once the pump powers off, the pump is often placed in a small pit. This pit ensures that the pump is placed at a slightly deeper position in the room, ensuring continued pumping until a water level of 45 mm is reached in the pit. In this way, the rest of the room will be pumped dry and there will only be some remaining water in the pit In what situations can I use this pump? You can use the pump in the following situations: ● The draining of your basement and/or crawl space ● As a permanent setup to automatically drain your basement/crawl space once a specific water level is reached ● The draining of your basin ● The draining of your pool What is the difference between the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA, the Integra 8000 and the Tallas D-CWP 300? ● When it comes to flat suction, the DAB Nova Up 180 MNA is the most effective submersible utility pump of the three. This submersible pump leaves behind a water level of 0-1 mm at most. Very easy for occasional use, in every place in the home. ● The Integra 8000 is is a submersible utility pump with float switch. This means that the pump automatically turns on and off at a certain water level. It is also possible to automatically or manually turn this pump on or off. Ideal as a permanent setup in, for example, a basement or crawl space that is often submerged in water. This pump leaves behind a water level of 2 mm at most. ● Just like the Integra 8000, the Tallas D-CWP 300 is a submersible utility pump with float switch. This submersible pump can therefore also be automatically or manually turned on at a specific water level. Convenient for use in a basement/crawl space that is often submerged in water. This pump leaves behind a water level of 2-3 mm at most. Can this pump be placed in small spaces? This pump requires a space of at least a diameter of 23 centimetres. As a result, this submersible pump can be placed in almost any space. Is the pump delivered ready for use? Yes, this pump is supplied with all components required for direct use. The only thing you need to do is attach the drain hose to move the pumped water to a desired location. The drain hose in our assortment is suitable for this pump. Which items are included in the package? ● Tallas D-CWP 300 ● Cable connection (10 metres) ● Manual
