Pump itself is quiet, good self-venting and has excellent power. Basement is pumped out down to a few mm at a reasonably fast pace. Hose is stiff and doesn't fit on the supplied hosetail without a coupling piece (we had to cut the hose). Also we can't get the 2nd hose coupled to the first one completely watertight even though we do use all the supplied coupling pieces.
