Product description

The DAB Aquajet 82 M is a pressure-boosting water pump, suitable for boosting pressure in your water pipes and general water supply (e.g. rainwater used for toilet or cleaning) or for using water from wells and reservoirs for irrigation purposes. Thanks to the water reservoir, the pump doesn't continuously switch on and off, making this pump much more energy efficient compared to other pumps. The pump comes pre-assembled with a 20 l tank and pump connection kit. This pump is ready for direct use. Because of its smaller size, this pump is ideal for smaller spaces.

Thanks to the FREE 7 metre suction hose you can also easily work with water from a rainwater well, groundwater source, ditch or canal without any problems. These accessories ensure that the suspended solids are kept out of the pump. Good for a longer lifespan of the pump.

The DAB Aquajet series includes 5 different models. Depending on your desired water pressure, you may choose one of these pumps.

Water tank

This pump is equipped with a tank. This can be useful in a number of situations. Particularly if the pump has to supply water occasionally (drip feed) A pump without a tank will pulse (switch on and off all the time) A pump with a tank can satisfy the demand for water from the tank, which means it doesn't have to start up every time. These pumps are great for, for instance, drip hoses for even irrigation or filling a toilet tank, which also happens slowly. A second advantage of a tank is that the so-called 'water hammer' is strongly reduced. Water hammer is the shock your pipes endure when a tap is opened fully and quickly. Pumps that produce high pressure straightaway can exacerbate water hammer. This pump's (built-in) tank prevents that.

Complete and ready-to-use set

We offer a set for many of our pumps. This way, we want to help you get started as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you're looking for a replacement pump for an existing system, you can always order the pump separately. We offer that at a lower price (below the set). The set is composed of accessories to get the most out of your product. We also try to extend the lifespan of your pump with these accessories, letting you enjoy your purchase as long as possible.

DAB

DAB is one of the most popular water pump brands for consumers as well as professionals. These pumps use very high quality standards. Before a pump is put on sale, each unit is tested manually by an employee. This is DAB's way of ensuring you get the highest possible quality. DAB has a solution for practically every situation. Whether it's an industrial application or just irrigating your garden. DAB's professional quality is also evident in their range of consumer products. The DAB pumps we replace for people are often over ten years old.

Switches on/off automatically

This pump switches on or off automatically when you turn on a tap somewhere that is connected to this pump. In many cases, it's very convenient if your pump switches on and off automatically. For instance, when you use it for irrigation with a hand nozzle. Or if you use rainwater to supply your toilet or washing machine. Certainly when you want to boost water pressure in your home too. Unlike a standard irrigation pump, a booster pump 'notices' when you turn on one or more taps, by registering a pressure difference. The pump will know it has to either start or stop. Standard booster pumps (installed on a tank) have a mechanical switch. More advanced booster pumps use an electronic switch. Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages. The mechanical switch is reliable but can't be (easily) adjusted. The electronic version can be adjusted but relies on electricity.

5-year warranty

Not sure about the quality of our product? We offer a 5-year warranty on this pump, no extra conditions, forms, or registrations. We guarantee high quality. This is how we have selected our product range. Better than many other brands, and we want to share this with you.
We don't just offer the most important accessories to increase the lifespan of your pump, we now also give you a long warranty period. This means a lot less worry for you. You don't have to do anything. The 5-year warranty is included when you purchase this pump.

Frequently Asked Questions ● What is the benefit of a booster pump compared to an irrigation pump? ● What can I use this pump for? ● Is it okay to connect this pump to the existing water system in my home? ● What type of water can I pump with this device? ● Is this pump suitable for continuous use? ● Is it recommended to use a pre-filter? ● How should the pump be installed? ● The water the pump has to drain is located at a depth of more than 9 metres, what's the solution? ● What happens if there is no more water available from the source? ● Is this pump suitable for a drinking water system? ● Is the pump delivered ready for use? ● Which items are included in the package? What is the benefit of a booster pump compared to an irrigation pump? Generally speaking, a booster pump is an irrigation pump with several additional components, such as: ● A built-in pressure switch, which automatically turns the pump on or off depending on the water requirements. ● A pressure vessel (water reservoir), which provides you with immediate access to water and ensures the pump only has to turn on if the water in the pressure vessel starts depleting. In other words, in case of small water conlifting stationtion (several litres), a booster pump does not have to operate. When consuming water, the water in the pressure vessel is first used. If the water level in the pressure vessel starts depleting, the pump will automatically switch on in order to supply the vessel. In addition to energy savings, this guarantees a much more silent system and a continuous water supply. What can I use this pump for? You can use this pump for the following applications: ● Irrigation and sprinkling of your garden or lawn ● Cleaning your terrace, backyard deck or garden furniture ● (Rain)water supply of your washing machine, toilet, sink, shower, etc. ● Pressure-boosting your water supply Is it okay to connect this pump to the existing water supply system in my home? Yes, this pump can be connected to your existing water supply. However, this is not recommended given the non-adjustable, high pressure output of this pump. We recommended the DAB Easybox Minias a more suitable device.. What type of water can I pump with this device? The DAB AQUAJET 82M can only pump clean water, which is to say: water without significant suspended solids (< 2 mm). This means you may also pump water from a canal or ditch, although under a number of conditions: ● We recommend using a suction hose with brass connection (improved filtration) ● We recommend using a pre-filter (additional filtering time before the water enters the pump) Moreover, the water should never be colder than -10°C and never be warmer than 40°C. Is this pump suitable for continuous use? Yes, this pump is ideal for continuous use. Is it recommended to use a pre-filter? If the water is approximately identical to drinking water, you will not have to use a pre-filter. However, if the water contains suspended solids (this is the case with water from a ditch or canal), we highly recommend using one. How should the pump be installed? The pump and connected system must always be protected against frost and other extreme weather conditions. Therefore always place the pump in a dry space, with an ambient temperature between 5 and 40 degrees, in which the motor can be cooled properly. In addition, all connected pipes must be fully water and air-tight to prevent damage and loss of performance. The water the pump has to drain is located at a depth of more than 9 metres, what's the solution? Irrigation and booster pumps can generally suck up water at a depth of 9 metres. If the depth is (sporadically) greater than 9 metres, you must use a borehole pump. A borehole pump is placed in the source and usually has a head rate of 50 metres or more. Please take a look at our selection of borehole pumps. What happens if there is no more water available from the source? This pump is water-cooled, which means the pump cools itself with the same water it pumps during operation. When there is no more water from the source (for example, if the water level in the source drops below 9 metres), the pump will continue to operate without water supply. This is also referred to as 'dry-running' and may cause the pump to overheat as a result (potentially causing significant damage). This pump is not equipped with so-called dry-running protection. However, such a system can be ordered separately. Please take a look at our collection of dry-running protection systems. Is this pump suitable for a drinking water system? No, this pump is not suitable for a drinking water system. Is the pump delivered ready for use? Yes, this pump is suitable for direct use.
