Description of the DAB Aquaprof Top 30/50 Rainwater Pump

Brief specifications

  • Pump capacity 4,800 litres per hour
  • Head rate 42 metres / Pressure 4,2 bar
  • Designed for reusing (rain)water indoors
  • Automatically switches to water pipe
  • Assembled and ready for direct use

Within this series, DAB provides two types of pumps for reusing rainwater. Depending on the required pressure / water pressure, one may choose between the:

In addition, there is also the option of choosing a more professional series, the so-called Aquaprof Top series:

The main difference between the Basic and Top line is that the Basic line measures the rainwater level using a float switch and therefore has no rainwater level display features. The Top line on the other hand has a probe and can therefore display the rainwater level on a screen.

The DAB Aquaprof Top 30/50 is an advanced system for reusing rainwater in the home and companies. This saves you on costs and water consumption, allowing you to recoup your investment within a relatively short time. One of the main benefits of this system is that it directly switches to the regular water network once the rainwater is depleted. In other words: guaranteed water supply.

Guaranteed water availability

In certain situations, it's important that there is always water available. Maybe not for irrigation, but if toilets, washing machines, or other appliances are involved, this can be essential. This pump is great for those cases. If you're not sure if your source has sufficient water, this pump offers a solution. It uses an automatic switch that switches the pump from the source to the water mains when the source is dry.

Stainless steel/Inox

Stainless steel – also called Inox – can be very handy in some cases. Stainless steel is particularly recommended in drinking water applications. Drinking water has to remain uncontaminated and cannot contain corrosion. For this reason, stainless steel is used. Stainless-steel pumps are also resistant against limescale. Limescale has a tendency to build up, which is impossible on smooth, stainless-steel surfaces. The alternative to stainless steel is usually cast iron. These pumps can corrode. This is why these pump types are often used for irrigation. A final advantage of stainless steel is that it does not weight as much as cast iron and is therefore easier to move.

DAB

DAB is one of the most popular water pump brands for consumers as well as professionals. These pumps use very high quality standards. Before a pump is put on sale, each unit is tested manually by an employee. This is DAB's way of ensuring you get the highest possible quality. DAB has a solution for practically every situation. Whether it's an industrial application or just irrigating your garden. DAB's professional quality is also evident in their range of consumer products. The DAB pumps we replace for people are often over ten years old.

Switches on/off automatically

This pump switches on or off automatically when you turn on a tap somewhere that is connected to this pump. In many cases, it's very convenient if your pump switches on and off automatically. For instance, when you use it for irrigation with a hand nozzle. Or if you use rainwater to supply your toilet or washing machine. Certainly when you want to boost water pressure in your home too. Unlike a standard irrigation pump, a booster pump 'notices' when you turn on one or more taps, by registering a pressure difference. The pump will know it has to either start or stop. Standard booster pumps (installed on a tank) have a mechanical switch. More advanced booster pumps use an electronic switch. Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages. The mechanical switch is reliable but can't be (easily) adjusted. The electronic version can be adjusted but relies on electricity.

5-year warranty

Not sure about the quality of our product? We offer a 5-year warranty on this pump, no extra conditions, forms, or registrations. We guarantee high quality. This is how we have selected our product range. Better than many other brands, and we want to share this with you.
We don't just offer the most important accessories to increase the lifespan of your pump, we now also give you a long warranty period. This means a lot less worry for you. You don't have to do anything. The 5-year warranty is included when you purchase this pump.
